Secondary school students are invited to join our Digital AcademHelp us bring Carnival to life on screen.
Our Digital Academy is for anyone interested in film, photography, animation, social media and digital storytelling.
Learn new skills, work alongside creative professionals and help us capture and create the digital world of Carnival 2027.
You don’t need to be an expert – come with curiosity and we’ll help with the rest.y sessions — exploring digital storytelling, photography, and creative media as part of Dumfries & Galloway Carnival 2027. No prior experience required.

Costume Design (Secondary)
Imagine it. Make it. Wear it.
Join our Costume Design projects and help create the extraordinary looks that will fill the streets for Carnival 2027.
Work alongside designers and makers to design, sew, decorate, adapt and build costumes, learning new skills as you go.
Whether you’re handy with a sewing machine or have never threaded a needle, there’s a place for you.
