This year, it’s all about Legends

This year, Dumfries & Galloway Carnival is all about LEGENDS – and we want you to help us create them.

We’re inviting people across Dumfries & Galloway to design an original Carnival Legend character.

It could be strange, funny, fierce, magical, colourful or completely unexpected. Your Legend can come from your imagination, be inspired by where you live, or draw on the stories, people and places of Dumfries & Galloway.

There are no wrong answers – we want to see what a Legend looks like to you.

A Legend can be anything you dream up. Give it a face, a name and a story – then send it our way. The boldest ideas could light up the night at the 2027 parade.
